as anyone ever bought those DRUM LIBRARYS on ebay

hi,
i just wanted to know as any of u use thm drum samples on ebay and if u have what do u think im thinking of buy some http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mobb-Deep-Sample- ... dZViewItem

They are pretty good, has lots and LOTS of drum samples for every style of production.

cant go wrong- all those hits for under a tenner- even if you only use 20% its still worth it

sometimes peeps just wanna be able to make music without having to assemble the sample library first- sometimes throwing some effects and stuff on a premade collection of hits is more intuitive than searching through records, finding a clean break with similar drums sounds, chopping that up, cleaning each chop and then loading...

im all for originality but the end result is the important thing here and think of how many of your potential listeners would say: ' not sure i like that, those drums aren't ripped from vinyl'......no one except anal producers....

which ever route you take you are still paying for sounds at the end of the day....i do both cos there are days i wanna make music not assemble drum hits

Thats wack, those drums are sampled from all of Mobb Deeps albums he says. Listeners, yeah they won't know but explainin that sh it to someone would be embarrasing. If you like Mobbs drums then know that they probably dug, and so should you.

A few cats here have shared drum programs and other instruments.You might be able to search and pull them up if the links are still good.I bougt a few disks when i first started and if i can find them i'll put them up.I listened to them and they had some nice drums but i've never really sed them and i don't know why

I purchased those a while ago. It has alot of samples that sound alike. I like the presets off Reason and Fruity Loops better. The best drum kits I had are on the MV8000 I previously owned. I lost them all when reset my PC. I back up all my work now.

I once bought a "5000 drumhits from 243 drummachines" (or whatever) cd from e-bay. pretty tight, although I mainly use the 909 drums.
....wouldn't cop this "mobb deep drums" sht though.....

i think ill take the plunge

here we go with that whole sampling ethics stuff again.............in that case no one should even sample. i say go with what ever helps your worlk flow, if you hear drums/samples you like from them cds ,do your thing

i bin buyin discs on there for a while and i sell them now too, fair enough there is a lot of re-used stuff on there but its what you do with it that counts, nothing is redone if done right

im not sure if id personally buy the one ripped from mobbs records but matched kits are musical tools like anything else- and soimetimes i wanna do what i bought my mpc for- make beats, not dig for sounds....
