question about cables, the MPC And Protools

i'm the new village e-diot with a stupid question. I've tried to search on here and a couple other forums and couldn't find the answer (i blaim it on the system and bone thugs n harmony). i got a mpc2000xl and a digi0002 running protools LE 6.1. i'm trying to hook the MP up to the digi002 and i know i need 1/4" cables, but basically...i'm just wondering does it matter which 1/4" cables i get as long as they are 1/4" on both sides? the ones i'm looking at are here

Either is fine but i would go with the snake.(The first set)To have your cables color coded helps keep track of what out goes to what in and it's alot easier when you move your setup and have to reconnect.Anyway,Welcome to the Fam.

My man lives in College Park,which by the way,he's an ill emcee.We plan to move out there next year.Maybe not College Park but somewhere near Atl.I can't remember the name of the street but he's about 5 mins. from the airport.

those are stereo cables.

stereo has 3 metal peices on the tip.
mono has 2 metal peices on the tip.

mono might be cheaper than the stereo snake.

color coded is good
