2000 xl operating system

Anyone have a good link to the most updated OS file. I'm currently still using one from May 2001, and I've had all this weird stuff happen. In step editing, I get this crazy breath control stuff happening. Also, I can't load zip disk files, eventhough the setup is correct. It's just not reading it on certain days, although it worked yesterday. Any help is appreciated. Please let me know. Thanks

so if I extract this to floppy, do I just put it in at startup in the mpc?

I have not upgraded as of yet either but never had any problems with the os sys. that i'm currently using. Is the updated os sys. anything different? If so whats different and how will it effect my production?

It won't effect your production at all.The newer o.s just works out some of the glitches and bugs you may have come across in the past.

yeh my casio spits out so much extra param,s that i dont really need to sequence. you set up a midi filter, to pass only desired params, like note on,off and velocity.

ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THE ORIGIONAL O.S? I'M HAVIG A PROBLEM DOWNGRADING FROM 1.2 AND I THINK I NEED THE V1.05 TO START. ALSO SINCE TRYING THE DOWNGRADE I KEEP GETTING "INSERT DISK WHEN I BOOT UP. PLEASE ADVISE
