we know that the MPC can timestretch

his original question was can he change pitch without changing tempo

timestrectch maintains pitch and changes tempo, thats the whole point of timestretch take samples of diff. tempos and matching them to the same tempo

recycle can be found at many stores but heres a few

www.sweetwater.com
www.zzounds.com or the page that he listed above

mpc doesnt have that capability but you should be able to work around it

recylce is a good software that can change pitch and tempo independently

Ableton live is another

ya....get the b.p.m of the original sample...say its 90.00 b.p.m.
Get your pitched samples b.p.m.... say its 120.00
then reduce the original sample -20 to 70.00 b.p.m and then take the new sample an jus increase its pitch +20
Didnt explain that too well but hope you get the idea

damn that joint has 20 pads?

people were already complaining about the size of the pads on the other 1000, those must be tiny
