Very true as well. You need to use 10-15% stretch, anything other than that is going to sound unnatural or think out of the box creative.

i was going to say this aswell i make al the difference, i 've learn that in time and i time stretch ever sample i sample.

Usually when we say gay it's cause something IS gay, as in weak. or soft, think of the loose wrist hand gestures a gay guy makes when he speaks.... soft, weak, frail! Then listen to some song that sounds weak and soft, like some Laffy Taffy type stuff, see the immediate connection?

hyperprism direct x plug in pack is the closest software i could get that would lower the bitrate and make the drums sound like it was from the emu sp12.

Hyperprism is a beautiful thing.. UGLY but good.
