Tracks from MPC to PC

HI! I have 2000XL, but I have lil problem. How can I get each track to my PC from MPC. I have 8-out, but I havent got mix or soundcard with more inputs.... My card is M-Audio Audiophile 2496....
I would like to get it into Cubase and mix it. But I am not sure how. To mute each track and record? But think, that is impossible to set all tracks on the same place like in MPC, isnt it?
Please help me and dont hate me

Hmmm... the only way I can think is by recording each track from your MPC seperately using the stereo outs of your MPC...then matching them up in your DAW once all tracks are in your DAW.

yeah one track at a time, use mutes.

to line em up, you could midi sync the mpc to cubase.

or for another method or extra fine tuning, add an extra bar to the beginning of your mpc song... and on EACH track, in that first bar, put a really short snappy sound with a fast clear attack. (the same sound.)

then you can use your eyes plus the gridlines to make sure each track is aligned.

i do this when i mix down my tracks. it's soooo tedious

but each time you do it you get better and faster. i do it all in acid, so i end up with like 50-75 tracks per song. this includes each different drum pattern all tracked up so that each sample is on its own track. my songs sometimes switch drum pgm up to 5 times, too - that's a TON of sample tracks.

not to mention melody, etc...then i render each of reason's tracks out as well, accounting for the other large chunk of track files...all of this ONE....AT.....A.....TIME

but it makes me focus, and the end result SOUNDS NICE, which is the most important part, i think.

So I have to add any special sound on the begging of the track? It is really complicated

He's got it right on...and it's not hard once you take the time to figure it out...Time code is the way to go...

Can't beat the sound, I am getting used to it now. You rely on your eyes and ears more than you ever realized you could.
