my dad when he moved from mil-town left all his records at his moms house
( my grandma ) and now she said shes gonna send em up my dads got some good shit too i know he does ima post what i got when they send em up he said its between 75-100 records

isn't it though. one time this lady said she had about 200 records i could have but she lived 2hrs away. i said fuk it, thats 200 records so as i'm truckin out there this other dude from the same town i'm travelin to calls me and says hes got a bunch i can pick up. i get to the lady's place and its really more like 300 recods, all organ pipe, wurlitzer type stuff and all in MINT condition. then i go to meet the other guy and he hands me 50 or so and when i get home i see that one of the records he gives me is Wild Cherry autographed by all the members. 4+ hours round trip but well worth it. that was the best night i had in a long time. can't wait till some shit falls into place like that again.

good luck kid if you just started digin and you catch the bug bad you wont be able to afford a car ,unless you got loot , learn to use the transit ans bike thats the best way to go plus more money towards vinyl,

i dint get a car till i was 20 i used to ride my bike everywhere i still do i got a car but my wife drives it i stick to my bike and rapid transit.

Yeah everyone asks me why I don't drive I tell 'em I'm fine taking the bus and BART if I can save some money to get more records.

ill have my turntables by xmas, so i have all of my xmas money im getting, and the money got now for records, i cant wait

I felt the same way up until about 3 days ago.My neighbor came by to see my newborn and she was like "i didn't know you collected records"Well anyway she starts tellin me how her brother used to d.j. for a club out here back in the 70's and 80's and he still has all the albums in their moms attic.The thing is her mom wants them gone so she decided she would give them to me (hopefully)next weekend.She says it's about 300 or so and i'm anxious as hell.
