I've found literally 100s of used samples on my records, and I still get excited telling my friends "listen to what I found, you know who sampled this, right?"

i didnt even remember this song til i heard it and was like oh shit another sample found...i found a jedi mind tricks beat and a brand nubian beat the other day also found a methodman beat i was pretty happy

Why do you look for those records with samples that have already been used? Why the used samples instead of something you've never heard used before... especially since that's all you look for? Is it the challenge of making the sample sound different? A fascination with the sample?

i dig for other stuff thats not common as well but i just like to dig for stuff thats been sampled cause theres other good music on the rest of the record or album , and yes i like to try to challenge my self to try and flip it to sound different then how it was used.
