What cartridge (s) does everone have?

Shure M44-7 (x2)
Excellent for scratching, but I want to invest in a better sounding cartridge just for sampling.........when money permits :?

What is the best sampling cartridge on the market anyway?

I figured id pick up the ortofon because it comes with an extra stylus and i dont have to assemble it or anything, plus i hear it has a nice output level

The best sounding cartridges are usually ones that are NOT designed for DJing/cueing/scratching. They use really light tracking weight.
Make sure they have a frequency response of at least 20-20K.

I use a stanton discmaster... don't know how they would rate that one but that's what I had since I got my turntable, a Gemini XLdd50

I use an Ortofon om pro cartridge that have a exellent audio quality for sampling and scratching
