Sup yall, been havin my mpc n triton n all for almost a year. I used to use VST's n stuff but i switched to hardware. Got a midi question for yall. I have the mpc synced to the computer and thas all gravy. i want to go back to using some of these vst's along with my hardware. i have an mpc,triton,layla 24, and proteus 2000. im thinking im running out of midi ports or somthing, am i correct? i currently have the midi out of the layla to midi in 1 on mpc. i have triton out and in's going to the mpc's. i think i got the thru of the triton going to the in of the proteus. this is all off top of the head, so forgive me if i stated somthing wrong. im at work! Help ya boy out one time!

You might be fine, but I'm an old head and a firm believer in multiple in/out midi interfaces. That would solve your problem a lot quicker and easier. 8 ins and outs or maybe even 4 would do it.

That's just me though.

any suggestions for a multiple midi in/out interface?

I have a MOTU Midi Express XT and it does the job just fine. It also makes everything sync well to a computer if you have a need.
