is this possible????

I have a multitrack software that i use to record my beats and songs.i can also make beats on it with a midi keyboard as a controller to trigger the sound patches on the software.i made beats on it already,but its all midi though.i was wondering if can use my mpc as a midi controller to triger the sounds on the pc or have the midi trigger sounds on my mpc??what im really trying to do is use my mpc as the drum machin to create drum lines then use the patches on my software to create riffs,melodys and etc.

absolutely.

this is why all good sample packs, especially the ones from this site, come in the same GM drum format. GM is a general midi protocal where specific drum sounds are always on the same key/pad.

if you learn where the kick, snare and hats etc are in GM, and learn to keep using these, you will be able to interchange drum packs and your gear without having to change all you samples/keys each time

as for exactly how to do this on your setup, well thats up to you to READ YOUR MANUAL and work it out. its not hard... get to it... you'll be kicking out fresh beats in no time
