I've got a Mac G3 350mhz (blue and white). I want to get a sound card (PCI, USB or Firewire), but all the new cards require at least 500mhz clock speed. I'd like to get something with at least 2 inputs and 2 outputs. Getting a new computer is not an option. I used to have a eMagic EMI 2|6 that served me pretty well. Anyone else have experience with one? I've also been looking into the mAudio Delta 44. The system requirements used to be G3, now the website says at least 500mhz. Probably because they are made for G5 PCIx compatibility now. Should I get an older one on eBay? Anyone own one?

By the way, I'd like to spend less that $300 if possible (ha ha).

Try to find an emagic audiowerk 2 on ebay...
2 analog ins/ outs and digital input/output.
The product is still supported by emagic and there are drivers for os8/9 and osX. I found it on ebay for about 100 $...
