i have an oxy8 and it works great for controlling samples in the mpc..very good buy if you ask me...a sound module is a rack/keyboard with onboard sounds in it...the oxy8 is a controller therefore, has no sounds in it

I use a supernova rack, and i'm very :D . I'm basiqly a bassplayer' allways seekin' 4 louds sounds. Analogues synths had big snds :D & oftenly big arpegiator. The supernova provide warms sounds, but caan also emulate a FM synth.Anyways if u need heavy basses, leads ect choose the analogue way!!!
Big up & take care.
