What's the best place in the worls for diggin?

really what are you lookin to spend for records, dollar bin prices ,comon guy's you can do that at home. if you want good stuff you gonna have to pay for it; now! the goods arent cheap fellas you know that, and if you not from there you know they gonna hike up the price, so what you concider the best place in the world is in your own back yard(figure of speech).

hate to be a dead head but you really got to think about it now, most them places send there artist over here to record or they are a subsidary of one of the US company's so how you figure theres a best place in the world to dig you livin in the best place to dig, sure there's imort and all that, but you got those here too.

I've been digging in Germany(of course), Amsterdam, Paris,...
Amsterdam was nice, and Paris was mad tough,... but heads on here know I had fun and also got some ill rekkids

I have to say my hometown and the surrounding area of Detroit. Two places in particular have records (sometimes) outside just for anyone to take for free! Carcity records, and the record exchange do this. Street corner music has a large 25 cent section, and there are flea markets galore all over the place.. large and small. (one in particular wanted to sell me the entire collection for $400, but I didn't (A) have a vehicle large enough to take it, (b)didn't have enough room in my basement for it, and (c)didn't have enough extra hands to haul it! (d) it was mainly stuff I wouldn't want anyways..20's, 30's, orchestra *which I have enough of* elvis, country type of music) In the summer time, we have garage sales (people sell items they don't need in front of their garage) and you can clean up! So, if you have $20 and your in the michigan are, you can EASILY get a crate of music. When I went to New York, I couldn't find any deals like this... maybe because there was more competition, but a $1 record would be like $4 out there. I keep hearing how $1 a record is cheap.. schyt.. I only pay that kind of money if I MUST have that particular record. If anyone can beat free, or 25 cents, then go ahead..

U Must Catch The Thrift SPOT BEFORE THE DJs, Collectors, Producers/Beatmakers and DEALERS.................

Plus People VISIT NYC often on other things that that wont go to INDIANA FOR (WITCH I've HEARD HAS SICK LOW PRICES, no Doubt)




ANOTHER KEY IS CARRY A PORTABLE AND GRAP Less KNOWN JOINTS..........................................

FUNK AND SOUL IN NYC HAS BEEN KILLED But The JAZZ, ROCK AND DISCO IZ STILL HERE.............................

and Develop Relationshipz So U Will Be told when the SPOTS Get FRESH STOCK............................


AND LEAVE MANHATTAN TO THE BIG SPENDERS (SOMETIMES)...........

Best places....no such thing. I say this becuz everytime u try 2 follow a program it always changes.I found alot of my best wax just on the humble,not really looking ya dig. One time I was reading a old news paper and I just happen 2 look at the obituary page and notice that this person wit mad records that I knew died and nobody around the way knew.I went by and left wit stacks of wax,some real classic ish too, Anyway just look and you'll find.
