Mpc-forums-fam-vinyl-swap-chain-letter??

Anyone interested could get their name on this list. the list goes around in a loop so whoever starts it can get something back and so it can grow on the next go around or whatever... it could be tight, i think alot of us have doubles of some funk/disco/jazz/hiphop/whatever lp or hiphop 12" or 45's that the next man on the list might be diggin for still.. just chain-letter vinyl steez..
It really boils down to its only as good as the records you give the next person.....what would you be excitied to see in the mail?
really the only out of pocket expense is the shipping but we could all use the same box..if youre into it and wont hold up the process w/ shipping (im guilty) then drop me a pm or post...

I'm interested but don't fully understand how it would work.

1.i start the list by putting some records in the mail to the seocnd person on the list

2. the second person on the list recieves the box and gets to keep whatever is inside

3. this second person then puts a few of his own records into the box to go off to the third person.

4. and repeat until tthe list goes all around and then see whos in for the next one.



it will be forum members only ithink so you could have the ability to communicate if you think you got shit on...or if somebody holds up the flow....it would have to be a commitment to keep the letter moving...perhaps workit out so works it way across the country rather than shippin the package coast-to coast all the time.....

no i think we need to go off something else xcause theres some cats that dont have that many post but know some sh!t about records,

i say we get about a week to send it out again.

but what i dont get is how is one going to benifit, i know you get records from different genre's but if you put down a few records that are heat and the other guy put's records that are not so hot ,what then you just got took, right?

are we workin from a want list, then?

it just dont make sence that there are cats that rewally know what they have then there are other cats that just got in to diggin,

you can't compare a 28- 30 vet in diggin to a cat that has 2 years
you know what i mean does that make sence?

he have to work and talk it out before it takes off ,it's a good idea.

its all going to be weighted on the records you recieve..if you get hooked youll want to give up something decent...i dont see anyone giving up their favorite records..maybe some wouldnt benefit from this..if you got it and felt you had to pass, (because you allready had it) youd only be out the shipping..and what are the chances of that happening anyway? it just needs to be interested forum members and it coukld come off really well..
