Different tempos

I need some help on what to do if I have sequences that are different tempos....I chopped a sample into a few loops, they are all around the same tempo, but some slightly off (ex. some 106.5, some 105.5 etc.) When I track these out into Cubase, how can I do this? Sorry if this should be in the newbie forum.

damn son u gotta give some more info than that. U aint even tell us which mpc u got. If u got a 2kxl than Time stretch the sample so it will fit into the same tempo as the other sequences to avoid a headache.

if you got a 4000 do the same thing

Sorry...I got the 2KXL...how do I know how much to stretch it? It's really just a difference of one is 104.5, another is 105.5, and the third is 106.3...thanks for the quick replies, sorry if I seem like a dumbass with this timestretch thing, I thought doing that would make the sample sound different than the others. How would you recommend doing it...stretching the 2 (104.5 and 105.5) and stretching them? If so, how can I do this accurately...I know this is basic, sorry. Thanks again for all and any help.

If u look in LampDogs sig he has a timestretch calculater. Put in the original tempo, put in what u want to stretch it too, than u will give u a value u use in your mpc.

Hey...I did that and it didnt seem to do anything to my sample...it still fits perfectly into the 104.5 tempo...maybe I did something wrong, I typed in 104.5 as my old and 106.3 as my new (I know these are odd numbers to try and get) and it told me to timestretch 98.307%....I did it at 98.30...and it didnt seem to do anything, anyway, please if someone can add some input, or even tell me what I am doing wrong, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

while in the time stretch screen hit the BPM soft key> select the correct amount of beats in the sample> select the source tempo> set the new tempo> hit do it

and remember to assign the new time corrected sample to a pad cuz after you hit do it it's still gonna be the original one assigned
