Yeah, I'm not trying to be a richard I was just saying, cause man, sometimes people wish for too much. On the other hand, I have always done that, save my entire vegas projects on dvd-r so that later on I can ALWAYS go back and rework them if need be.

I have always saved my entire MPC projects on my scsi hd also. I got it maxed at 32 mb so I have YET to fill up all that gb space, I'm nowhere near close seeing as a single 2kxl project can only be 32mb max....

Go into song mode and select the sequence you want to use, Change the Input Source to Main Out. Be sure to adjust the sample time to the exact same time (maybe a second more) as the song time.

This is internal sampling not conversion.

is this for the mpc 4000?

Yes it is. For some reason the post I originally submitted was modified, erasing some info that would have been helpful to you. I know that this is internal sampling for whoever modified my post, but if you read the whole post it told you just that and also told how to utilize the ak sys in order to be able to use the sample and burn it as a wave file onto CD. I know it works cuz I just did it 2 days ago and I'm bumpin' my tracks while rollin' on dubs.

nice one mate . thanks for that one . as am on the move to upgrade from 2000xl to a 4000 ill keep that in mind. in my eyes that trick would save me a lot of time when tracking
