16/33/45/78

what turntables play all of these? or do u need a special player for 16's n 78's

and does DIRECT DRIVE or BELT DRIVE matter...i heard u couldnt scratch on belt drives...

If you have a choice get direct drive. It's better.

i dont think theres adirect drive TT that plays 16 78's back in the days they were all belt drive , they may have numark and stanton 's but i dont think it will play to the correct speed , try to look for an old daul TT or a bsr they will play these records good luck there old now.

wouldn´t turntables with +/- 50% pitch do the work?

probably i dont think it's fullspeed tho, i own a 33/45 rpm TT so i could say really,
1200's are only -/+ 8

my stanton str8-80's play 78's, you just click both 33 and 45 at the same time.

i susspect other stantons may be the same, even though it doesnt say it on the box/manual, its there.

the tech12's do that too but it only plays 45 are you sure that it's playin 78 not 45 how do you play 16 speed, i've never seen one of thoose records in my life and i've been diggin a long time

couldn't you just pitch it down to 33 - 17%. is that the same as 16 speed. Not sure never seen 16 speed either
