I don't even have an MPC of any model yet. I'm primarily a keyboard and guitar player, but the drum sounds on my Triton are wack and I need to have an external sequncer to use more of the sounds off of the keyboard to give my songs that rich layered texture plus have something to put some dope drums under the chord melodies. I don't know which way to go though. I was considering buying the 1000 but I didn't know if that would limit me any, I've always heard that the 2000 was the MPC of choice, and I was checking out Ebay to see if I could catch one for the low and then they showed up with the 2500 joint. I don't wanna spend any unecessary money if I'm not gonna be losing anything and at the same time, if I'm gonna be gaining something that one of the other models doesn't have, I'll spend that extra dough. I just need someone to point me in the right direction. I gotta have something midi that'll let me move all of the stuff from my Triton to the MPC, plus I gotta have dope drums. Any suggestions...
Should I even be tryna invest in an MPC, are they simple to use...
I'm not a sample based producer so I don't even know where to start with that, but that's something that I plan on working on, I just gotta figure out which MPC to buy first. Peace
