word.
i'm glad that some of youse dont have to deal with this BS, but be aware. it aint nothin new, but i just started gettin back into diggin again recently, and it seems to be running rampant where i'm at. at least 4-5 different spots that i've hit recently had at least one empty sleeve that was obviously a gank.

i definitely agree with "yoda" on this one: you aint no digger if you jackin [dollar] records!!

cmon, what are you gonna do with it when you get home, if you're so hard up for $$$ that you gotta steal at the least $0.50??? if you think about it, the only reason they're leavin the cover behind is that they be stuffin the wax in with some others in another cover...most thrift stores dont know/care enough to check. so assuming that all the records are priced the same, you're gettin at the worst 2 for 1. at the best, you can probably stuff about 4-5 records in one cover without it lookin retarded.
cmon, its new jack sht.
you're obviously not a collector, cause you aint gettin the cover. you're either a punk-azz dj or wanna-be producer that spent too much $$$ on gear to pay for a $1 record!! get you're priorities straight!

you're already gonna sample the beat. if you can't even pay for it upfront, then you got no respect for the music, plain and simple...thus you aint no real digga, IMO.

dope i feel your pain man,...

but you know what in the thrifht store around my area they charge per record so if you stuff it in another sleeve you an idiot because you still paying the same price and you just gaffled your self cause you left the cover behind idiots,
i dont know i dont get it, i'm sure he at my digg spots this is not happening cause it's only a few times i see this but like i said it's because it get switched during the time they are taken donations or when there at the owners home they just get missplaced,
i really cant see some one stuffin a record in your shirt or your pants to get over like that ,
like someone said uptop it not like rackin paint.records break , paint up just stuff in a pant leg or waist and dont trip.
i just dont see this picture in my head.
you gotz to be really stupid.

enuff man i'm tried of this thread , it's coolin all but i'm sicken'd
i'm out

sad, but true.

one good thing, though, is that i like to get the really obscure sht anyways...now i'm forced to not go for the obvious stuff.

God dammit! It happened to me twice today in two different spots! Barry White- empty. Nina Simone- empty. Aretha Franklin- empty.
I took the empty sleeves to the counter and told them what had happened and that they should look out for it. They were thankful so they gave me the records I bought cheaper... But I was still upset!
