This interview was DEEP. My man touched on a lot of things.

Bomb Squad was definitely ahead of their time and untouched in many ways even today. The excruciating attention to detail Hank and crew had, damn.

Made me re-evaluate my whole game plan. I feel embarassed about how simple my methods are when I hear what these brothers put into their music. The experimentation, the understanding of music, damn, they have it man.

Very humbling. I'm now going to go back and listen to all my old PE albums man...with a different perspective now of course.

Dude knows his stuff. Much respect.

I didn't know the Mix Out on the SP was punchier than the 8 outs. I'll have to try that this weekend and see for myself.

Anyhow, I'm glad Hank encourages creativity, too many of yall want to sound like PR, JayDee, and Premier and all them other cats. Glad he comes off at a positive note and encourages exploration and creativity.

hank is one of the most underated producer's in the game! I have'nt heard anybody use a sampler the way that man does.the onlything I personally disagreed with was the GOD & devil thing.but other than that he is my favorite.good looking on that.

It doesn't even matter where it's at, every REAL hip hop show has white kids there. I saw Ghostface and a bunch of Wu Tang cats at Roseland last winter and Raekwon goes, "there's alot of whiteboys in here, word, they always come thru..."
Even Kool Keith says that the crowds at real hip hop shows are mostly white. It's a shame...

ha ha..I can understand the curiosity since the bros basically started this culture...But being a bro myself, I can appreciate the multifaceted euro-ethnic intrest. Some of the hottest tracks I've heard have come from other dudes other than bruthas man....Not flaming you but I can see your curiosity. Where we At?....If those seminars cost Loot you know how kats are sometimes...."Man I ain't got it" so they don't go. Just like when Jordan comes to my city every year with his B'Ball camp. Most kids in my area can't afford that Sh!t...so they get left out.
But one of the HOttest Kats I have heard around here is a white dude called "The Apple Juice Kid" Heavy hitter man...HAs won 2 beat battles here and was in the finals for the Grand CHampionship.

Back in the day, White dudes were rapping and didn't even consider it rap.
Songs like Hot Rod lincoln by Commander Cody.... Wild wood Weed, Pencil neck Geek..Country joints telling stories....but it was to told to aCountry music track...
All in all, those Kats were telling a story, not singing...hence RAPPING!!!
