I was going to buy the Roland MV8000 but the salesperson (a MPC4000 user) said that the MPC's are so much easier to use...

I tried it myself and it is one of the easiest pieces of gear to learn on.

selling or trading the gear listed in my sig to save up for a keyboard and I'm done...

100GB
5400-RPM
Ultra ATA/100 interface
8MB Cache
Less than 26 acoustic decibels (A must for recording music)
5 year warranty (hopefully it doesn't outlast my MPC)

Does it show up as 100GB on the 2500 screen?

Right now mine says FREE = 95731MB
I have some files I loaded on it already though...

And I just got in my memory and compact flash...and a new sampler for the price of the MCD25...Akai S5000!

So please buy my extra gear! =)

Are you sure?? You know how Akai dealers in the US do :D

Once/if the 2500 takes off, they will probably stop selling them stripped down and ship it with all the options for a premium...probably discontinue for the 4000 and replace it with an even more expensive high-end MPC

At least that is how I would run my business to increase profits. I would increase the price of the MPC 1000BK...and not release the OS update for download for months after its release. I would also fix it so that an MPC1000BK user will not be able to save the OS to disk so they wouldn't be able to distribute it :D

That would piss people off probably...but that is how I would generate sales as a hustla...

If you'd like to run a business down to the ground, that'll work.

Running a business is what I know how to do for sure. I know how to turn a profit. My partners and I sparked the MPC hustle on eBay.(there was none before us). Scooping them up for nothing..restoring them (even removing the options to sell them seperately :D ) and flipping them on the open market.

Akai needs to holla at a brother..I can teach them how to move units...I am Ghetto Platinum. Just think if I had a major label backing me

Forget Roger Linn...slap Jahrome on the MPC....

This is said in jest so catz that are willing to give their left one in support of Roger Linn...I am watching my own back :D
