NYC

and PHILLY..............

The PROBLEM IN NYC is THIS..............The COMPETITION..............

SICK....................

DJs

PRODUCERS/BEATMAKERS

COLLECTERS

DEALERS

because the Dealers Know MANY DJs PERSONALLY THE see NO need to Be Reasonable on Pricin' SO THE CHARGE UP THE AZZ..............

And Collecters are Fiends on Specific Jointz..........James Brown, Miles Davis ETC.

The KEY TO NYC DIGGIN IZ THIS TIME.......................................

U Must Catch The Thrift SPOT BEFORE THE DJs, Collectors, Producers/Beatmakers and DEALERS.................

Plus People VISIT NYC often on other things that that wont go to INDIANA FOR (WITCH I've HEARD HAS SICK LOW PRICES, no Doubt)

ANOTHER KEY IS CARRY A PORTABLE AND GRAP Less KNOWN JOINTS..........................................

FUNK AND SOUL IN NYC HAS BEEN KILLED But The JAZZ, ROCK AND DISCO IZ STILL HERE.............................

and Develop Relationshipz So U Will Be told when the SPOTS Get FRESH STOCK............................

AND LEAVE MANHATTAN TO THE BIG SPENDERS (SOMETIMES)...........

Queens

Bronx

Brooklyn

even Staten or Some Parts of Harlem Can Reward YOU LARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TRUS ME NYC AINT DEAD JUS GET OUT OF MANHATTAN................

Personally paying a high price for a record makes me feel like a bad digger. I'd rather go with dollar unknowns than spend $15 on something.

it really can make you sick in NY how messed up it can be with all the price gouging.

it's the same every where ,here in SF we got high prices too, i just paid 35 for an ablum of jimmy castor , theres no price on something you've been wanting for years, and if you know you cant find it in the bins then just pay the pricce cuz you never kno when you'll see it again, jimmycastor bunch i've been lookin for this since i heard it when i was a kid and heard it on flash dance, some twenty years plus , i've tried to order a press on a alpha omega they were out everytime, so i see it for 35 i jumped on it tell me you wont send the money on a original pressin in mint condition.
i would have paid more if it was more , i'm tellin you , you aint a real digger if you dont have that feelin in you that a record not worth that much to you ,

look at ?uestion dude paid 300 for a jazz recorded, theres no price too much if it means something to you.
keep on buying stuff that has no feelin to you , i get mad inspired when i hear it's just begun or troglodyte those two songs were well worth my 35 dollars and i'll do it again.

just my 2 cents dont want to hurt kno feelins

A lot more spots, but a lot more people too. I would say it evens out.

I live in DC now, and my best finds have been in the MD and VA suburbs.

Theirs plenty of spots in Baltimore that are untouched. I got mad spots, Half of them got record players in the store so u can hear what u buy. I dont like listening first though, it takes the fun out of it to me. I like buying shyt thats hard to flip because it makes you work harder at the beat and in turn that gets ya skills up and makes you more creative. Half the samples I use are some wack shitz that I just flipped crazy
