Hey if that was your auction and you made 5 g's off it good for you. if someone spent 5 g's on that auction then they really need to get slapped like a little ****. the first collection is nice. that second collection which I am talking about where dude lists the records.. those are straight 50 cent to dollar records. If you dig you know this. Them shits is easy to find. Its not like they are really rare. I didn't see no east of underground in there. I don't see know S.O.U.L in there I don't see know whatnauts on the rocks in there or no pharoahs. Ain't no Mulatu's up in that peice. I mean those are expensive records. Yo I'm not a DJ but I'll chump yall selling you 1 dollar records for 20. Keep thinking with that mentality. You'll learn from your mistakes once you start doing some research and make several bad deals. And even though you may have been DJ'ing for so long that don't mean shit. You don't know jack if you are thinking them joints is heaters. like I said, IT IS GOOD MUSIC, just not rare.

actually IT IS what you buy. This shit isn't gear this is records. It matters what you play. And plus the records I mentioned are rare records. So here i'll give you a little lesson. I'll just list the artist and a track and you can go on the internet and look for an audio clip.

East of Underground - Betcha never lose my love. Them drums are real nice on the cut and it breaks down into a really soulful uptempo version of california dreamin that is fire. not as hot as the bobby womack cover but still ill.

S.O.U.L. - Burning Spear. ill break, ill flute and ill bassline. b-boy cut. you hear this for the first time you gunna bug out

The Pharoahs - Awakenings. Just a beautiful album listen to the whole thing all the way through. Oh you might prolly listened to their shit before because they eventually became Earth, Wind and Fire.

Mulata - Pretty much anything by dude. Ethiopian funk at its finest. Kind of like Fela. Not as dope as fela but still up there. He still performs to this day. Good luck finding originals of his ish. there are reissues out there you can cop.

And as far as playing for a 35 and up crowd. I can do that and kill it. I got all the cuts they would be listening too. my crates are deep son. plus I listen to them classics all the time too. thats my shit. fly me to wherever you are at and i'll punish you at your own party. I haven't played out in a while but i still have my skills.

i been at this shit for a minute. i don't know everything but I do know a little something. you trying to call me out is just dumb, son.

oh and how am I trying to strong arm respect. all i'm saying is if you drop loot on that collection you need to give up. if you hit a thrift every weekend for a couple months you prolly have all that shit for some change.
