mpc 1k and mbox

Can the 1k be connected to the mbox. My setup= m-audio pro 88 midi keyboard, mpc 1k, mbox, midi un0 interface,reason 3.0, and pro tools.

Please do so.

Only if you have an mbox2 can you connect through midi and audio with your 1k. If you have an mbox 1, just connect thru your other midi interface. Go inside your midi setup and add the 1k to your beat clock list if you want to control play/stop to do your tracking.
