Quick questions on USB ZIP250 connectivity

Will the MPC1000 recognize a USB ZIP250 drive and read programs and sequences made on a 2000XL? Will I be able to access all the partitions on a ZIP250 disk formatted with a 2000XL?

the USB port on the mpc1000 is not a host port. meaning you can not connect anything to the mpc to be recognized. it's only a slave port meaning it can only connect to a computer. you can not connect any external gear of that nature to the mpc via usb

**** **** **** **** I'M ****. I can't find a replacement SCSI ZIP250 for my 2000XL and I was thinking that using a USB ZIP would be a viable option on a different MPC. **** me. Thanks for the quick reply.

Get a usb zip, copy the files to pc.
Place the files onto your cf card via usb card reader or USB to MPC.
