Trim page stopped working

weird... when i select part of a sample to extract in the trim page, hit edit & extract it doesnt extract the part of of the sample i selected, it just copies the whole sample across from start to finish.

think mpc is confused..?

havent had any problems using the trim page before..

...tried restarting the mpc and its still doing the same thing.

mine seems to do the same thing from time to time. sometimes purging the sample and re-importing from the CF card works. I have a feeling it has something to do with the settings in the "loop" tab, but haven't found any scientific pattern to whether or not the the trim works properly.

mine acts funny with both the "extract" and "discard" functions.

you guys should try to re upload 1.07 OS.

yep, it was doing the same thing with the discard function to. i'll try reinstalling the OS tomorrow.

but i think you can save it by following beyondhope's advice and reinstalling the os.

if my mpc keeps this tierd shit up it may well have to represent with that paint job.

seems to be working ok now tho, havent reinstalled the OS. i hope the lil sucker aint gonna start wiggin out on the regs.

I had some problems with the same thing.... but then I realized I was hitting extract on the LOOP page and it was extracting the entire wav file. Check this out cause you might be doing the same thing.

nah man, thats the first thing i checked when it was happening, i was hittin the right buttons for sure. thx for the heads up tho.
