Who got their HDM-10 already?

The kit arrived today!

I was going to pop in a 30GB IBM TravelStar hard drive I had laying around. But, it won't fit.

Note to anyone who's getting the HDM kit: 12mm height drives will not fit.

Most 2.5" drives are 9mm height drives, so it shouldn't be an issue for most people. Just something to keep in mind.

Got it today. Already installed it. Now Im just waiting on the O.S. and that black shell, Im not too crazy about this red and blue one. Still this is the perfect stay at home machine. Just cant wait to utilize the vast sounds in my 2500 at the studio so I can stay home more (the wife is pregnant ).

sparq everytime i call the akai number u listed and push 301 i get nothing. sometimes it rings then its just silence. I'd really like to order this asap. do you have any idea what im doing wrong or where else i can get this
