Do you have no common sense at all??

You obviously have a PC so copy the file from the floppy onto your desk top then save the file to your Zip.

I hope you know how to turn the MPC on

zip

So whos PC are you using at the moment or are are you browsing with your MPC

Hmmm, without a PC or access to one with zip capability your not gonna get anywhere fast. Install the OS before you replece the floppy drive with the zip. There isnt likely to b any more updates after 1.14/c

Im not agressive it just seems although perhaps you didnt think your question through properly b4 you asked it. Zip, Floppy, CD-R whatever your transfering to or from, the principle remains the same. How are you going to get your samples off floppys you've been using into your MPC then??? Hmm, looks like you need to make an investment. Perhaps you should just buy an external drive and keep the floppy drive so you can load your OS (and your sounds)

of course i have a computer but i don't use it for music. My mpc is used with external zip and on each zip disk i copy the OS of the mpc so i can use any of them whitout loading the OS from another disk...did you get that..;that's why i'm asking for the interest of having the zip INSIDE the machine...is that clear?do you think it's a stupid question????

If you have an external zip then why are you worrying about a internal one for? :? Don't waste your money, you're not going to benifit from having an inside one if you already got one.

In fact if you rip out the floppy, you're pretty much are setting yourself up to buy a zip drive for your computer also so you can load any new oses or loading computer edited samples. But don't hold your breath.
