Ok, after watching The spook that sat by the door I started thinking about this...
I've heard the OST a while ago and thought it was pretty dope (H.Hancock ;))

Image

Now years later I watch the flick and I was all excited about it, because I knew the OST already. Is this familiar? Kinda like reading the book and then going to the theaters if you ask me. Perhaps if you leave out the spoiler effect...
How often do you even concentrate on the OST? Do dope OSTs make you wanna see the Flick even more, or even make you go and rent it?

I've been a Soundtrack kinda dude for a while, but watching the real flick is real intense. Spook was ill btw, really enjoyed it. Strange enough I just heard a weezy track or something yesterday that was sampled when the "negrofied pig on lsd" comes back spaced as hell riding on a bicycle, haha
"I just met the most marvelous bunch of niggers!!! THE MOST MARVELOUS BUNCH OF.....BANNGGG"

It's about time I found some good Flicks, always seem hard to get by these early 70s classics and TV series.

so whats the word? you a soundtrack dude? you collect old rare VHS' ? You have interesting background info on ganglife in chicago/the spook Picture? you have a thing for dolemite movie posters? dicuss bitches :P

Enough for today,
tomorrow is horror day,... vampyros lesbos is on the list..

not only knowing them songs man. I dont know,...

The power behind Spook really shook me. Show me a movie from 2000 or later that has a dope soundtrack like , good actors, and a strong story like this...

(After all its not AMAZINGLY ILL but still lightyears better than any of the current TV Program/Pictures)

It just feels like there's more behind it than some drunken coked up hollywood producer and some lunatic script writer.
This was just what got me back into this subject though. I didn't mean to keep it so close to blaxploitation.. I'm a nut for stuff like this so I dig all kinds of ish. Crazy/Strange bugged out flicks, blaxploitation, exploitation, horror, drama, giallo, cop/detective shows, space/science fiction related stuff....

Name a few few dope b-movie/underground oldschool flicks if you know anything good. I'll try and post Screenshots from lesbos tomorrow. I heard the Flick is pretty wack, and the OST the best thing about it, but I have a certain feeling nekkid lesbian action sexy vampires might prove the imdb reviews wrong :D

Ha! Now thats oldschool. I gotta ask my girl, she got nospheratu on VHS somewhere. I heard the Minx OST reissue, ill break. Plus the colors of the shots do look nice! Yo, suspiria is MEANT to be like that! The disgusting strange wine-red colors are supposed to make you feel uncomfortable so you'll pick up the atmosphere better   . I liked it very much though. And yo, goblin did a CRAZY job on that soundtrack.

About the vampyros lesbos:

It was enjoyable, but not as dope as I hoped it was. The plot was a bit shakey and predictable and the flick was kinda over before it started. Perhaps it was my mood but the director didnt really let the picture build up a tension. I've checked some "vampiremoviefreaks" reviews and it got pretty bad reviews. I'd say its something you should have seen!! You seen the pictures.... lesbian vampires??? oh yeaaa babyyyyyyy :D Nothing too great though.

Right now Im gonna check out 'Roma a mano armata' which can be translated to : rome, armed to the teeth. Directed by Umberto Lenzi and Micalizzi with a sickening (!) soundtrack. Alchemist sampled it a while ago, the name of the track slips me.... Once more I had a CD (vinyl rip) of this very rare italian library before I got hold of the Flick. I heard very good stuff about this Movie though, so I hope I get more than some booty vampires this time

Some Shots:

I'll write review after I checked it out.

Yo Medd!!!
El Topo seems to be a classic Mexican Western directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky. I heard he is an amazing director.... I gotta do some more research on him..
I Just checked with my Hookup, he got El topo with english subs. Perhaps I'll give it a shot!

some Pics from the Movie:

KILL ME ! KILL ME, PLEASE!!! :D  :D
Now this looks like maximum carnage!

P.S.: You should check out Django. I saw a pretty good "rip off" a few weeks ago. Looks like there were quite a few Spagetthi Westerns named after Django here in Germany that were actually some unknown Bmovies that never made it far. The fake Django I saw was insanely dope though.
I really have to track it down, I already have some vocal samples I plan on using from it. Shyts got punchlines for days :D
