Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Sup guys, I'm new here and just need some top advice for a hot minute!

I got a 2.2gb SCSI drive hook up to my 200xl, the damn thing has just broken down again!...untill i can lay my hands on another, is there anyway I can use my PC as a storage device??? I have to PC's, one with CD/DVD Rewriting hardware etc...

I don't think that's gonna work. Just go one ebay and cop an internal ATAPI ZIP drive. I paid a whopping $6 for mine, and that included 3 zip disks.
Another thing that I do now is I save all my drum sounds on my Yamaha A4000. Any sampler will do, as long as it has decent storage. I sold my s-1000HD a lil while ago. It had a 40 meg hard-drive, but that's enough if your just saving kicks and snares. You may be able to get an s-2000 real cheap and plug a hard-drive in it also. You can get those durt cheep!!

Yeah that or a CF Drive. For the CF Drive, look through my USEFUL LINKS thread for info...
