MPC2000 0P V1.1 and V1.00

as far as the microchip in the 2k with the sticker on it thats says MPC2000 OP V1.1 whats the difference between that chip and V1.00? one was made in like 86 and one was made in 97. thats the only difference i can see. Reason i ask is im switching parts between my 2 mpcs, and after the surgery, i will be on the more recent version. I know its not the OS, because thats on a floppy disk and it can be upgraded. What is this chip? Will i see any benifits using the newer one?

i swapped out the whole top circuit board, so now i have the new chip, and all my buttons are like new!
