Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Family,
I want to use the piano roll for basslines in fl studio while I have a track playing on the MPC. Problem is the only way I can hear the sounds in fl is when I press Shift+sample. Is there a way I can hear fl sounds while playing a sequence on my MPC.

Yes. You have to connect a midi channel out from your MPC into the in port of your PC (midi box) .
When you press play on your MPC the midi out will play the intrument you have inserted in your FL project.

The problem I have is that FL only responds to 1 midi track.
Lets say I insert Sampletank into FL. I can set an instrument within Sampletank to midi channel 3 but when I try to control that channel with the MPC FL does not recognize it. I'm pretty sure it's just a setting because I used to be able to do it.

FL only responds to midi on 1 channel.

I saw a post on this board on how to correct this but I can't find it.

Thanks for your help. I think I have some other options, but I thought I would try this one first. Peace

I thought you were talking about sampling and playing a seq at the same time through your MPC.

I need to read more and stop skipping stuff.
