pads on the mpc2000xl....

just copped me a xl.. i got an old mpc2000(non xl model) sitting right here next to it and i notice much "bouncier" pads in the xl than the regular 2000.

am i trippin?

the pads seem a lot fresher..

or maybe this is how the pads feel in a new unit as opposed to this old 2000 which has been used a lot
