It's safe to assume I'm going to give you a budget alternative. This requires a little work, and I obviously am not afraid of work.

From reading other people responces, they don't like my idea's.. it's all good, so here's my suggestion anyways. ahaha
Get yourself a decent sampler, sample the kits that you need from the desired keyboards/modules and save it as kits. Midi it up to your MPC and when you load em up, it will sound exactly like the real thing (as long as you have digital in and outs on both machines) Total cost, maybe $300 for a decent sampler with some storage. I found sample cd's on ebay of triton, motiff entire kits for like $15. Load, save, midi, and your ready to play.
Now, go on ebay, find a recorder that you want, and wait untill the price is right. I passed up a 24 track fostex 2 weeks ago for $400 (I'm kicking myself now).. you can easily get a 16 track recorder now for about $400 (used) If your new to recording, I personally recommend a nice cheap 8 track. If you pay top dollar for a good recorder without any prior knowledge, you going to get very pissed off at it, and it will sit there and collect dust. When you sell it later (cuz you not going to want it) your going to lose money. I paid $1500 for my vs-1880 4 years ago, and sold it for $750. If I had just bought an 8 track for 200 bux, I could have probably sold it later for $150 and now bought an 1880 for it lower price of approx $600.. so I would really spend $450 for a recorder that I'll fully use.
That's $700 spent, and $600 still in your pocket. If it's burning a hole in your pocket, feel free to donate it to the Roxstar foundation. Gas prices are up, and my utility bills are outrageous!
