Will MPC 2500 be capable of reading from a Floppy Drive?

Yeah, sorry for the ?. I've been going one by one through all of the old post and saw that this ? was addressed by jahrome and others when word of the 2500 1st got out. My bad.

Hey Sparq, different question, is the MPC 2500 a good fit with the Akai MFC42 MIDI Analog Filter Module? I was thinking that it should be a good option but I haven't seen much about it.

not quite sure. i can find out. besides the 2kxl, i haven't heard of anyone using it with any other mpc. (not saying no one has, just saying i've never heard of it)

I've seen it used with the 4K a couple of times, if that helps. With the design of the MFC, I don't see why you couldn't use it. I just think you see it with the 2Ks because of the mount for it.

that's very true, you're right. that's why i said i haven't heard of it being used except on the 2k. i didn't think about using it without the mounting bracket. so then i guess in theory, you could use it with the 2500. i will still find out for sure.
