I have a beat, regular bass and snare drum on sequence one... i have other shit from a previous session on sequence 2... so how can i just copy that shit if im doing a song... each track is supposed to have different elements. i put those different elements on the tracks, now in song mode you can only make transition through different elements in sequences, that shit **** me up and i read the manual... someone just school me through this shit, im inept at this shit... pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssse

Have u messed around with Sequence Edit (MODE then PAD 13). U can do a lote of powerful stuff in there. For me, when it comes to variations of a sequence in song mode, often I will copy my sequence to another sequence and use the Track Mutes for the variation. EX: Seq 1 and Seq 2 are identical, except that Seq 2 has the Bassline track muted, so when i am in song mode, if i wanna drop the bass out, I just go to Seq 2. Hope that helps.

Plus you can copy one sequence to another then just delete certain pads, and or mute, and then add in new ones if you want. But this is definately in the manual.

just move the cursor until the sequence name is highlighted then hit the window key and you should be able to copy the sequence that way.
