Do you mean you don't have an emcee or you don't have the means to record vocals?
If you need someone to rhyme look to local cats or connect with cats here.
If you don't have a way to record vocals, cop a c.d. burner and carry your tracks to the studio or invest in a computer, preamp and dynamic mic.

what i think he means is that he makes beats but they are nothing that anyone can rap to.
When I first started using fruity loops, I would make these so called "beats" and let my boys rap to them or try myself and just wasnt able to because there was no rythm....i guess

Start simple.... use 16 slots.... bass drum on slot 1, 4, 9, 11, and a snare on 5 and 13.... then a hi-hat on 1, 5, 9, 13. You have a simple drum machine beat...well, in XOX talk. This don't make sense in MPC speak though lol.

I'm thinking you have problems with timing and calculating tempo... Bar/beat/tick is complicated when you don't know it.
A bar is the basic measurement, a beat is each division of a bar, and a tick is each subdivision, I guess that's the best way to put it.
for instance, a basic hip hop beat usually is like 4/4 timing, so one bar has four beats in it and four ticks per beat... think of a song with a drum pattern that's really simple....
like closed hi-hat, kick, closed hi-hat, snare. One, two, three four. Listen to the metronome clicks while you lay your drum parts. The really loud click is the 1, then it's 2,3,4. I know it sounds silly or maybe I'm not wording it properly, but try it out and experiment, load up one open hi-hat, one kick, and one snare and try it.

If your goal is to make beats people can rap to, the answer is simple, SIMPLIFY the beats. If you want to make the craziest thing out there that nobody can rap to then just do it how you been doing it, and don't change.
