sounds removed from patterns

I have the xl and when i try to play some of my sequences in song mode sometimes a certain pattern will be missing sounds. anyone have any ideas?

Check the mixer and make sure every track is turned up.Also make sure you didn't hit mute/solo by mistake.

Another problem might be, which I have done in the past is that when I save the sequences, I forget to save the program, so some sounds are not included in the program you were using.

i dont think that it is either the sounds just randomly disappear like even from the banks themselves

carrying on from what Niceweis was saying... Are the sounds in the memory? ie. can you see them when in the Trim screen?

while in the song mode screen, right after u hit convert, the mpc will ask u which sequence you would like to save the song in. right underneath that, there is an option which can be changed with the toggle wheel. highlight that option and scroll until it says "off tracks ignored"
i often have that same problem and scrolling thru the options in the song mode until "off tracks ignored" is selected should be the answer. i hope u can unerstand what i wrote.
