question: Triton LE... does that shit work good w/ the mpc

that all depends on what you want to do. not just the triton but with any synth. you have to be more specific on what you want to accomplish.

yes, it works well on the mpc...what sound are you looking for? that is what really matters. What doesn't matter is what your favorite producer is using because you are a different person.

m guess is they are both good at midi so it's up to YOU and YOUR skill level. It will be YOU.

Real question: Do YOU work good with the LE and MPC?

I think what he (the moderator) is saying is fair. No offense to the the guy asking, but it's a silly question that even a newbie shouldn't ask. It doesn't make one ounce of sense. If you even know what an MPC is, then you know what the answer is without even thinking. It's like asking if an SM57 works with a mixer. There's a MILLION people using Triton-series workstations and racks with MPCs, not to mention they both have MIDI.

You want an answer that won't get clowned, as a specific, legitimate question. If he asked, hey, is there a way I can save my sequence setup from the LE on the MPC?, then he'd get some real answers.

both peices of gear are modern gear and they will no doubt do what you need them to do via midi, but it's on the producer himself. Am I wrong with that or what.

I think that's a great combo if you have the scratch for it so early in your music making career...
You will have the ability to sample plus you will have great sounds ready to go.. you won't get a headache learning to sync up the 2 machines.. you will probably find the mpc sequencer is easier and more fun to use so you will have it control the triton like a sound module... but it will be like a soundmodule on steroids because it's a workstation in itself... and what more could you want then a set of keys and drum pads?

Don't give up on this forum you will get the elitist replies and you will get the helpful replies...
In 10 years if you never make it in music as a career you might end up on a forum like this trying to crush peoples egos before they can start... but I hope you don't...

make sure you play the triton before you make a decision (assuming there is a music retailer near you) the sounds are gonna be the most important part...
The MPC you will fill with your own sounds so the most important part is if you like the feel of it
