I would use a noise gate via a PC wave editing program and play the song through the noise gate at various settings ie, threshold -40 to -20db, release/decay 100-200ms, attack 0. Play it realtime through that and maybe you will hear the drum alone somewhere in there and you can snatch it like that. If you hear it just save the noise gated wav as another name and chop that up into the peices you want, I use a native sound forge 7.0 noise gate most of the time..

welcome to the world of production.
seriously its not that hard to come up with any drum sound youve ever heard. between synthesis, samples, compression and selective eq its all possible.
why dont you just name the song?
building on what lampdog said, you could load up a bar of that track where the kick is ratrher plain in recycle and use that, along with its excellent gate, and at least get the kick singled out.
post it to us and im sure one of us could either shape it up or knock something up similar for you. be a good exercise.

You gotta hit the play button within the effects window NOT the regular play at the topbar menus. It will then play through effects instead of just normal.. Yeah, just send the song to someone and maybe they can find it and help you out. Send a snippet as MP3, ZIP it up and send it on to someone for some help man..
