stereo samples with the 60

lookin to cop a 60 real soon. just curious to find out how difficult it is to use stereo samples with it.
do the majority of yall just use the 60 with mono samples?
started with a 2000, got rid of that and went computer about 5 years ago. now im going back to the mp.
the tracks i do are composed from stereo samples aside from the drums.

I use a Y cable on the input of my 60.

For true stereo samples, you need the 3.1 os upgrade. It lets you sample left and right separately then join them.

Or get two MPC 60's..

You can also sample left and right, assign to different pads, then pan them hard left and right on your console.

yeah i read that from the description of what the upgrade does from the linn site
is that what people do? is there a more efficient way?
mind you, im not lookin for what' easiest here, just lookin to see how efficiently this thing can be

word. lock them togehter so they play simultaneously

The MPC editor will export stereo samples from wav and you can load them into the 3.10 OS 60 and they will load up in stereo.

It nly happens to me by acident, but it works real slick, and more efficient that joining them unless you are going for an effect.
