Yo, I currently make and record all my beats on hardware but, would like to move on to software recording like protools or something. I would like to know how some of u homies hook up your hardware to your PC. I dont wont to make beats on the pc just juice them up a bit. Maybe someone could point me in the right direction, it would sure be appreciated.

first of all u need a powerful computer. at least a 40gig hard drive(at the least), a nice pentium processer (pentium 4) 512 mb of ram and a soundcard. these are the specs i had when i first got my computer built a couple of years ago. others here might have better sh!t but ive NEVER had any problems. dont use that same computer for internet use neither if u value what u save. u need a good soundcard. dont go to best buy or no sh!t to get a soundcard. but also do some homework on what u want to find the specs u need. take your time. i bought my cpu 4months before i got it runnin how i wanted it be cause i didnt do the proper homework (mainly because the nuendo program was free and that was all i knew)
