slowing down samples

i ordered this sample disk and the samples are real fast. the company emailed me and said they do this to put more samples on a disk. if i go into trim mode "params" and i adjust the tune i can slow it down but is this the only way?

I think so.. If it's too fast the tune will have to come down..
