soundforge export ?

in soundforge, when adding effects, how do you get the effects permantly added? when i export the sample to wav format the effects are not there anymore. i am an idiot sometimes about these computer dilemmas.

what version of soundforge Im using 7. Im gonna walk you through how to do it just to make sure thats what you doing. Ok first I get my sample load it up in soundforge then chop it up how I want it then I'll highlight where on the wav I want the effects (usually the whole wav) then after everything is complete I click File>save as and name my sample i usually save it to the desktop for easy access. Also make sure that you arent opening the original wav the one you had before you added the effects.
