thanks guys! I found out a way to do it...
Read if you care:
My problem was that i didnt have a cable that connected my COMPUTER pc to my Zip drive.
So for 5$ i bought an internal Floppy Drive since i had dozens of new floppys.
Considering my MPC already had the floppy drive AND an external zip drive connected, i tried something.
I had sounds that i got from a friend on a CD and dowloaded them to my PC and then burned a few sounds to a floppy disk with my new flopy drive than inserted the FLOPPY into the MPC and loaded the sounds one by one and assigned them to pads. Then once i had my 4 banks full of sounds i went ahead and SAVED! Not to the FLOPPY, but to my ZIP drive! And now i repeat the same steps once in a while.. But i think A floppy holds more than enough sounds for a great sequence..
I have firewire on my PC, so when i finish a sequence i can use my Presonus 8 input with my 8 quarter inch snake from my MPC to my Presonus through firewire to my computer to my CUBASE than finalize and wave file it and burn it to cd OR send it to my itunes and then sent to my IPOD!!
Wow, thanks guys! I need to make more music! Sweet!.. - carlos
