does anyone get this random problem with note duration on a midi note played just before the end of the loop? it always cuts the length short and i have to fix it in step edit, anyone know how to get around that?

searched this and never found the same problem....

it only happens if you hold the note duration from the end of the loop back into the start in overdub mode. just getto let that shit go before the clock goes back to zero.

It sounds like that's the problem. He might need to hold the note longer to get it to play all the way through. However,it might overlap a tad bit.

but if i let go before the clock goes back to zero the duration won't be as long as i need it to be and i'll still need to go into step edit

:?:

i want it to be as long as i hold the note for, but it cuts off when it loops

and yeah this is on overdub mode - should i be in another mode?

Hi

Try the editscreen. Find your note(s) and make the duration longer manually. Then go back to the mainscreen and listen.
I do this with loops I have to trig just before beat one (zero). Dont know if its working with midi.

I was JUST about to say the SAME thing. Just shorten it manually via step edit. Don't let the durations overlap the beginning of the loop.
