I just posted tis on the 2000XL board, but just in case I hope you guys can give honest opinions about the 3000´s sound. Do it´s converters really produce a better sound than the cheaper MPC´s?
"I I just sampled the same sounds to my 2000XL and my ASR 10.
The ASR 10 sounds so much better it´s almost weird.
the ASR sounds fuller and "less choppy"... makes everything smoother and in my opinion, more high quality.
It´s wack since the 2000XL and ASR are both 16-bit samplers... it really must be the converters that make the difference. What if I solely used the digital in and out on the XL? Would that change things for the better?
How much betterare the MPC 3000´s converters (it´s natural sound) compared to the 2000 XL? is it anywhere near the difference I found in these two?"
