Need Help... MPC 1000

im such a newbie sorry i dont even no the word for this, how do u do that thing on the mpc 1000 were u press a pad and the sample plays but when u let go it stops, my beats are **** up cos samples are playin so long...... can sum 1 tell me n not say look at the manual, thanks that would be great

yes, press mode + pad7 (program) then select the sample you want then press window. scroll to note on then press main.
