lost my beats..pease help

I have a omega 100 zip drive that i use with my XL. today i was loading a disk with about 15 of my best work and the drive stated: disk error! Is it any way i can get those beats back up....

look for someone wit a zip drive on their computer

open your disk up and see if your files are ther

if they are...then its your drive and it needs to be replaced

if not...your disk is probably corrupted and your beats are gone....forever

I think the beats are gone..cause i use 2 other disk . They all work fine so i know its not the drive.

Mpc3000 has restored a few disk before.(Not for me personally)I'm sure if you contact him he can fix you up,for a small fee of course.But it will be well worth it to have your music back.Also you might wanna think about getting some sort of backup just in case.

I never had that problem with zip but it used to happen all the time with my floppies, that's why I got zip and then I got a 1 gig external scsi hard drive used off ebay for 12 bucks, this way if the zip goes bad, all is not lost! Placing your disks near speakers (have magnets inside for the woofers) or static electricity can damage the disks permanently, be careful!
